Key Reasons for Choosing an ISN Degree

Committing to several years of study is not a decision to be taken lightly. We understand that.

If you’re considering your journey with ISN – if you’re transferring from another institution as a graduate – you’ll be thinking carefully about the benefits of joining us. Here a few of them:

ISN is all about psychology. It’s what we do. There are no other faculties to compete for precious education resources or the attention of our leadership group.

We not only teach psychology, we practice it in the ISN clinic and we also undertake research. This means that as our students progress through the course, they have access to supervised clinical experience and research project possibilities though its new research & development initiative, ISN Innovations.

ISN also has associations with a expert clinicians and researchers organisations. That gives you more contact, more insights and more connections on the way to your career in psychology.

With teaching course work options for hybrid learning such as "live on line" and face to face, sites in Bundoora, Ivanhoe and Kew for skill based training and placement opportunities more broadly, ISN Psychology provides a rich learning environment. Our main campus is close to the Austin medical precinct it’s also close to public transport and the delights of Heidelberg’s shops and eateries. Our new clinic, performance and training centre in Cotham Road Kew has public transport, eateries and Glenferrie Road close to its door expanding opportunities. And with facilities in Bundoora, within the University Hill precinct, we provide many avenues for engagement. And in 2024, we are launching our skill based workshops into Sydney!
