All ISN Psychology courses are  accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC), meaning that all ISN Psychology degrees are recognised by AHPRA for the purpose of registration as a psychologist in Australia.

ISN Psychology Application Process

Thank you for your interest in studying at ISN Psychology.

Applications for Intake 2 (mid-Year), 2019 are now open.

Applications for 2020 will open on the 1st July 2019.

Undergraduate –  Years 1-3

Bachelor of Psychological Science

Applications now closed

  • Gather all application documents (e.g., VCE marks or official statement of results/transcript, evidence of citizenship – copy of your passport or Australian driver’s license, change of name certificate – if any documentation submitted contains a different name).
  • If any documentation is in a language other than English, ISN will require submission of a certified English translation along with a certified copy of the original documentation.
  • Any additional documentation required can be submitted after the submission of an online application form via email to registrar@isn.edu.au

2019 Intake Deadlines:

  • First round application will be assessed by 21st December 2018.
  • First round offers will be made via the applicant’s supplied email address by 21 December 2018.
  • Second round offers close on the 18th January 2018 and will be assessed by  31 January 2018.
  • Second round offers will be made via the applicant’s supplied email address by 31 January 2018.

Fourth Year Honours 2019

Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours)

Applications for Mid-year intake now open:

Application Period: 19/02/2019 – 14/6/2019

  • Gather all application documents (e.g., official transcript or academic record to date – APAC accredited psychology undergraduate degree, evidence of citizenship – copy of your passport or Australian driver’s license, change of name certificate – if any documentation submitted contains a different name).
  • If any documentation is in a language other than English, ISN will require submission of a certified English translation along with a certified copy of the original documentation.
  • If you completed your undergraduate studies outside of Australia, ISN will require a certified copy of an official letter from the Australian Psychological Society (APS) confirming that an assessment of your psychology qualifications was conducted and your undergraduate degree obtained overseas is equivalent to an Australian three year, APAC accredited, undergraduate course.
    • Any additional documentation required can be submitted after the submission of an online application form via email to registrar@isn.edu.au

2019 Midyear Intake Deadlines:

  • First round application will close on the 14 June 2019
  • First round application will be assessed by 5th July 2019.
  • First round offers will be made via the applicant’s supplied email address by 5th July 2019.

Postgraduate – Year 5 & 6

Master of Psychology (Clinical)

Applications for Mid-year intake now closed:

Recognition of Prior Learning and Transfer of Credit

ISN will provide credit for any units undertaken as part of an APAC-accredited sequence applicable to the current course being undertaken as indicated in ISN’s Policies and Procedures and as referred to in the current APAC standards.

Transfer options between tertiary providers

Students of other universities or higher education providers can transfer into ISN with recognition of prior learning based on ISN policies and regulations.

Deferment of Study

Students enrolled into a course of study can apply to defer their course for a period equivalent to 1 year of study only. Please the ISN Policies and Procedures for more information.

International Students

Please note at this stage ISN Psychology can only accept applications from domestic students (Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents). Prospective students with only Permanent Residency may have limited eligibility for FEE-HELP should this become available, please refer to Study Assist for more information.
