All ISN Psychology courses are  accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC), meaning that all ISN Psychology degrees are recognised by AHPRA for the purpose of registration as a psychologist in Australia.

ISN Psychology Application Process

Thank you for your interest in studying at ISN Psychology.

ISN Psychology is pleased to announce that applications for a mid-year intake into our honours program – Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) – is now open. Applications will close on the 8 June 2018.

Official academic transcript(s) can be sent to registrar@isn.edu.au up until the 8 June 2018.

All other course applications for 2018 are currently closed.

Important Information:

  1. Please be aware that we are still at the application stage for FEE HELP. In the absence of FEE HELP, students are expected to pay tuition fees upfront
  2. No offer can be made without an official transcript.

Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)

Round 1 closing on Tuesday 31 October 2018

  • Gather and certify all application documents (e.g., official statement of results/transcript, evidence of citizenship – copy of your passport or Australian driver’s license, change of name certificate – if any documentation submitted contains a different name).
  • If any documentation is in a language other than English, ISN will require submission of a certified English translation along with a certified copy of the original documentation.
  • Any additional documentation required can be submitted after the submission of an online application form via email to registrar@isn.edu.au
  • Final documentation needs to be submitted by 31 October 2018. Applications and documents submitted after this date will not be assessed.

First round application will be assessed by 31 October 2018.

  • First round offers will be made via the applicant’s supplied email address by 31 October 2018.
  • Second round offers may be made, subject to place availability, up until 1 February 2019.

  • Gather and certify all application documents (e.g., official transcript – APAC accredited psychology undergraduate degree, evidence of citizenship – copy of your passport or Australian driver’s license, personal statement, up to date resume, change of name certificate – if any documentation submitted contains a different name).
  • If any documentation is in a language other than English, ISN will require submission of a certified English translation along with a certified copy of the original documentation.
  • If you completed your undergraduate studies outside of Australia, ISN will require a certified copy of an official letter from the Australian Psychological Society (APS) confirming that an assessment of your psychology qualifications was conducted and your undergraduate degree obtained overseas is equivalent to an Australian three year, APAC accredited, undergraduate course.
    • Any additional documentation required can be submitted after the submission of an online application form via email to registrar@isn.edu.au
    • Final documentation needs to be submitted by the 8 June 2018. Applications and documents submitted after this date will not be assessed.

Application will be assessed by 14 June 2018.

  • First round offers will be made via the applicant’s supplied email address by 15 June 2018.
    • Applicants who receive a first round offer need to respond via the link provided in the Letter of Offer within 2 weeks of the offer date or by 29 June 2018, whichever comes first.
  • Second round offers may be made, subject to place availability, up until the 29 June 2018.
    • Applicants who receive a second round offer need to respond via the link provided in the Letter of Offer by 13 July 2018

Further Information

Recognition of Prior Learning and Transfer of Credit

ISN will provide credit for any units undertaken as part of an APAC-accredited sequence applicable to the current course being undertaken as indicated in ISN’ Policies and Procedures and as referred to in the current APAC standards.

Transfer options between tertiary providers

Students of other universities or higher education providers can transfer into ISN with recognition of prior learning based on ISN policies and regulations.

Deferment of Study

Students accepted into a course of study can apply to defer their course for a period equivalent to 1 year of study only.

International Students

Please note at this stage ISN Psychology can only accept applications from domestic students (Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents). Prospective students with only Permanent Residency may have limited eligibility for FEE-HELP should this become available, please refer to Study Assist for more information.
